Profinity Partners is a recently started brand, but founded by experts with many years of experience in strategic projects and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Arjen van Mierlo

Managing Partner

Arjen van Mierlo holds a master in Business Economics of Tilburg University and graduated on the subject of Mergers & Acquisitions. He always has had an interest in the strategic aspects of businesses.

In the first 5 years of his career he has been working as (Senior) Corporate Finance Consultant at M&A boutique Van Den Boom Group (currently NIB) and subsequently as Manager Mergers & Acquisitions at ING Bank Corporate Investments for 3 years.

Arjen has successfully finalised tens of sales mandates and various buying processes in those 8 years, as well as other strategic assignments, like valuations, market scans, preparation for listings etc.

In 2000 he switched to Endemol Holding where he was working at, and later responsible for, the global Strategy & M&A department up to and including 2007. In this period he has acquired and established many companies and joint ventures all around the world. Subsequently he was appointed Head of International Operations in 2008, overlooking the international business of the Endemol Group and between 2009 and 2015 he was as CEO responsible for the Asian market and was based in Hong Kong. After Arjen left Endemol in 2015 he was asked to return in the position of interim CEO Africa in the second half of 2016.

Arjen has been investing in start-ups from 2000 to 2018. As of 2016 he has been operating as an independent advisor, an investor and developer in real estate, as well as an investor in scale ups.
